Synovia is Awarded a Seat on the NASDPTS Steering Committee
Greensboro, NC - November 2002. At this year’s supplier council meeting for the National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services (NASDPTS), Synovia was selected as a member for the Steering Committee.
“We are fortunate to be part of the supplier council steering committee,” explains Brad Bishop, Chief Operating Officer of Synovia. “The vendors on the committee are a great group of companies who take an active role in defining the school bus industry standards. We hope to help educate the industry on the use of AVL technology on school buses as a means for both safety and operational efficiency.”
Synovia has extended its involvement with the school bus industry by taking the role of steering committee member. The committee is comprised of various school bus industry vendors, all of whom seek to address the issues facing the industry. Synovia hopes to extend its understanding of the industry’s needs and, at the same time, be a reputable source of AVL knowledge.
