300 School Bus District Selects Synovia

Fort Wayne, IN - November, 2004. Fort Wayne Community School Corporation (FWCS), in Fort Wayne, Indiana, operates a fleet of 300 buses from two separate transportation centers. Having two fully functional garages requires a high degree of communication and efficiency. The district’s commitment to keep its buses running efficiently and safely is evident with its most recent initiative. The district will be outfitting its first group of buses with Synovia’s GPS hardware as part of a fleet-wide implementation plan. After speaking with other districts currently utilizing Synovia’s GPS solutions, the district was more than ready to begin the project.

FWCS is also looking forward to integrating Synovia’s GPS data into its routing and scheduling program, provided by Versatrans. Synovia has been working with Versatrans for nearly one year. This relationship was one of the primary reasons FWCS selected Synovia as their GPS provider.
