Micronet and Synovia have collaborated in the past
year on the development of a fully integrated school-bus
fleet management and student transportation solution,
leading to the recently announced significant project
wins by Synovia.

The Houston Independent School District can now
wirelessly monitor its fleet of more than 1,100 school
buses and official vehicles in real-time, thanks to an
agreement the district has signed with Synovia Corp.
and AT&T Inc.

helps school districts track and manage special-needs

— Fall, 2006. At its fundamental level, GPS technology
will allow districts to remotely monitor where buses travel
and what they do along the way. With some additional
options, the system may offer live status monitoring,
student identification, enhanced mapping and routing,
and driver payroll automation.

infancy in school transportation applications, GPS
(global positioning system) technology can be used
to do more than just track buses.

Community School Corporation (FWCS), in Fort Wayne,
Indiana, operates a fleet of 300 buses from two separate
transportation centers. The district’s commitment to keep
its buses running efficiently and safely is evident with its
most recent initiative.

Tippecanoe School Corporation (TSC) is no stranger to
innovation. The district was the first in Indiana to pilot a
GPS system, the first to outfit its entire fleet of school
buses, and is now the first to pilot an integrated GPS
and routing solution.
Indianapolis, IN — September, 2004. The Metropolitan
School District of Wayne Township, in Indianapolis, Indiana,
has recently outfitted its entire fleet of 150 school buses
with Synovia’s GPS hardware.

Services (NASDPTS), Synovia was selected as a member
